Kingdoms Reborn is a server based on a rewritten version of the famous Kingdoms plugin made by Hex_27. It's a community-driven RPG where you can create your own kingdom and fight against others for land, resources, and power. The main goal of the project is to bring back the old survival experience while maintaining the idea of kingdom warfare. Key Features: Hardcore Survival: No auto-fishing, no redstone clocks (redstone itself is allowed), and no auto farms. You can break/place blocks only in kingdom land. There is no creative mode, mob spawners, and overpowered stuff for sale. If you want to be ahead of others, you can buy coins and hire skilled players to build, fight, and mine resources for you. Private Plots: You can build your awesome castles without worrying about enemies of your kingdom. As long as you pay taxes to the current landlord, only you have control over your plot. There are also a few anti-vandal measures in place to protect public plots like Banks and Outposts from being destroyed upon conquest by another kingdom. Meaningful Economy: Rare items that are mostly unavailable in survival can be purchased from denizens in kingdom outposts. Each one has different offers with different prices each day. Aside from interacting with other players, there is only one way to earn money: jobs, aka professions. You get paid a little for all you do: hunting, fishing, mining, etc. Balanced War Mechanics: These allow you to overpower enemies' PvP skills with larger player numbers in the long run. Small groups of toxic players cannot destroy much bigger kingdoms with wise leaders just because of better PvP skills. Even a small kingdom requires significant resources to maintain, which becomes crucial during war as you cannot recover infrastructure until it's over and must rely on what you have built before the war. About the server: Sundered Society was established in November, 2012. We are ran by staff members who are mature, friendly, and do not abuse their powers. Also, we never use donations for personal gain, every penny is used to help the server stay alive and promote it. We are unique in the fact that we do not use schematics when building any of our structures. Our players are treated with respect and dignity, we go out of our way to make sure the player is having a fun experience. We encourage our players to start a town and become the most popular town in the server. In addition to towny, we also focus on the economy. Players have an option to join three jobs. Jobs help earn players money which can be used to buy a town. Players can also create chestshops which will further help them earn more money. Maybe the safe nest of towny doesn't appeal to you? Well that is fine, we promote PvP on our server by hosting PvP events and towny war events. Still not enough? In addition to towny, economy, and pvp, we also have Mcmmo. With Mcmmo, the player can level up their skill in swords, mining, woodcuting, and more so that they can obtain resources more easily and become number one on the server! Also, we have capture the flag, pvp arenas, and skyblock so that you can never be bored.   Voting: In Sundered Society, when a player votes, they receive both voting points and a vote crate key. The points can be redeemed on our website (www.mc-ss.net) to obtain items, ranks, and other rewards. The player also gets a voting key that they can then use to open crates. Our crates include prizes such as ranks, permissions, enchantments, tools, and other really cool items most other servers don't offer their players without a money purchase.
